Indiana is the latest state to join California in discovering that yes, charter schools do actually work when it comes to getting students to perform better.
"The results in Indiana are amazingly positive in both reading and math," says Margaret Raymond, director of Stanford's Center for Research on Education Outcomes, "These are really strong results."
The Indiana State Teacher's Association is the latest union to burry it's head in the sand when faced with superior performing charter schools. Nate Schnellenberger, president of the ISTA, said he had not read the study.
