Washington Post blogger Vallerie Strauss has taken a look at former DC Public Schools Chancellor Michelle Rhee's travel journal and determined that Rhee has been hard at work taking collective bargaining rights from teachers and helping establsih voucher programs. Rhee presided over DC Public Schools durring a period where standardized test scores increased dramatically, establishing Rhee as a rockstar in the education reform movement. Recently, the test score gains that let to Rhee's prominence have come under investigaton due to abnormal numbers of erasures on test forms. An investigation is ongoing.
