Lower Merrion High School (of last year's spy laptop scandal fame) is back in the news. This time it's for firing physics teacher Robert Schanne for an alleged affair with a student that happened over five years ago. Because of the lapse in time, instead of getting out the torches and pitchforks, parents are lamenting the loss of the school's best physics teacher.
